These adapters worked well on our recent trip to Europe. They were sturdy and stayed solidly in the socket, the cord plugged into the adapter was secure and didn't fall out. The adapters that we had would not stay securely plugged in so these were a great replacement for the inferior ones we were using.I would heartily recommend these to anyone traveling to Europe.

Standard outlet converter to European standard - Ukraine, Poland, Netherlands and Germany for the usage of these. Worked fine.FYI ... just for those not knowing and, hopefully a redundant statement, these DO NOT convert the power only the PLUG. Check the device is good for 220V before using! NOT all devices are both 110-115/220-230!

The adapters worked well when travelling in Greece. They are well made and fit into outlets easily with my US electronics (phone charger, CPAP, and curling iron) plugging in easily.Keep in mind these don't convert voltage, just the plug shape. Only plug in products rated for 240 volt operation. Many of the 1 star reviews are people plugging in 110V only products.

This adapter has the correct size for many of the European applications. The pins are 4 mm dia., a standard for a two wire outlets. The triangular shape of the edges should fit the 2-pin outlets. Grounded SCHUKO it definitely fits. There could be an issue on the receiving end. The metal springs are relative deep in the body. They have to be, for safety reason they cannot be too flush. But this has a drawback as it holds the US prongs, being converted, by their very ends. As a result I find out that a battery charger, i.e., sort of a brick, intended to hang on the outlet, will (or may) wiggle out from this adapter.

Although I have traveled internationally many times previously, for this particular Europe trip in late 2023, I was traveling with my girlfriend who was planning to bring her hair dryer with her. This made me question if I had the correct plug adapters / voltage converters / transformers so that she could use the hair dryer safely in Europe. Here's what I learned after some research, in case it helps anyone else who is traveling internationally.In general, most electronics are designed to operate at two voltages (dual voltage), meaning they can work with an input voltage of ~120V (US) and with an input voltage of ~240V (EU and other places). For such electronics, all you need is a plug adapter like this set of 6. The plug adapter is simple--all it does is allow your US plug to physically fit into the EU outlets. These ones worked perfectly during our trip, and they fit into the outlets snugly without any sort of looseness. (We used these in the Netherlands, Germany, Prague, and in Copenhagen without any issues.)However, some other electronics (like my girlfriend's hair dryer) are designed to operate at a single voltage, in this case with an input voltage of ~120V (US). For these electronics, a simple plug adapter is NOT adequate. The plug adapter does not convert or transform the voltage. Therefore, your electronic device would be operating at or receiving an input voltage of ~240V even though it is only designed to handle ~120V, and this may result in a number of undesirable and potentially dangerous situations including damage to your electronic device, a fire hazard, smoke and odor, a tripped circuit breaker, etc. For these electronics, you instead need to use a voltage converter or transformer to step down the ~240V from the EU outlet to ~120V, which the appliance can now "accept".Voltage converters or transformers are significantly more expensive than plug adapters, so in our case we just bought a new hair dryer that was dual voltage, and that one functioned perfectly when used in tandem with these plug adapters.

I used these for a recent trip to Europe. They are invaluable. It is so handy to plug North American plugs into typical European sockets. Does NOT convert voltage, only connects the device to European power. Always check your device to see if it can run on either 110v or 220v.

Worked perfectly well in Spain. Great value for a 6 pack. We were a family of 5 and a 6 pack was enough for everyone to always have one when they needed one for charging phones and tablets during our 10 day trip to Barcelona.

I can plug in my 120/240 volt devices easily with these. I didn't realize that the EU outlets were recessed bit these fit into the outlet nicely. Just have to remember to check that the 120vac device is capable of 240vac - not all of them are and this does not convert voltage - just gives access to the 240vac outlet with a 120 vac device.
