These needles on the flower frog are made of brass, sturdy and pointed, they are fixed on the base, can hold different flowers and branches stably in place, help you to display a beautiful and complete scenery of your plants.
Operating way:
You can just insert the bottom stem of your plant onto the brass needle, then use sticky clay to attach the flower pin frog to your container, and display the decoration on the table or book shelf.

I began a pottery class and have made a lot of small sized shallow bowls. I ordered these little frogs to use in the bowls for flower arranging called Ikabana. They worked so well.

Quality is better, but smaller than I thought for a variety of plant containers. I might have to use all 6 for a rectangular container. Plus no instructions regarding watering. Do you place in water or not?

These flower frogs are great! They hold flowers just right. Used them for an outdoor arrangement at Christmas. Even when the wind blew they stayed right there. Probably not in 60 mile an hour continuous wind but I'd bring the arrangement inside for that. Will recommend to others.
