Very nice medium density rubber floor protectors.We have hardwood floors an I was concerned that the heavy treadmill may end up making depressions on the floor. These pad are very well made and would protect the floor.I did order an alternate set as pictured to compare, even though this set was slightly thicker/larger overall and was more giving as it is less dense so would have been better for shock absorption. We ended up not keeping it as the color was not to our tastes. Definitely good if you’re looking for more shock absorption. If it was not a blue color we would have actually preferred this set.

The material is a kind of hard grade rubber, which should supposedly last longer with being squeezed. The pads work nicely, they muffle the sound and vibration when used on a hardwood floor.

Don’t smell. Fit great. Not sure about noise reduction, the neighbors below haven’t complained and I don’t wanna ask them.

I use an air compressor nearly daily. It's a small one, but some days it feels louder than a full size shop compressor.Putting these under the feet reduced the sound by at least a third!It's such a relief!

I have a treadmill under my desk at work which I use just about all day, every day. I put it on a thin treadmill mat to try to deaden the sound for my coworkers, but that does nothing. I put the treadmill on these pads, and the difference is noticeable. They did raise the treadmill about 3/4" up, so I did have to adjust my camera. :) They're also very easy to install. Since you just need to place them under a few spots, you don't have to lift and move the entire treadmill like you would with a mat.
