This timer is just what I hoped it would be: easy to read, with an alarm that is loud and lasts several seconds (so I should be able to hear it from an adjoining room). It arrived in just a few days and in perfect condition. I would recommend it to anyone looking for one like this.

Don't waste your money. Doesn't wind and if it does it only rings a couple times and it not loud enough to hear. I thought I was getting the one that you see in the kitchen stores etc. Not so. It is cheap, no back to it and you have to wind it several times to get the spring to set. I would not suggest this at all!Totally disappointed!

Seems like a good timer......but..........I find the necessity to activate it cumbersome. One has to wind it forward to around 55 and then wind it back to the number of minutes one wants. I have other timers that I have to simply wind once to the number of minutes I need.

ring tone is loud enough without scaring the cat. stable on the counter. numbers easy to read from across the room. can turn the dial easily, even with arthritis. highly recommended.

This is just like my old one that broke when I dropped it. It has a nice loud bell. It works the same way.
