This 1/2" aluminum plate came wrapped in plastic foil so the surface was free of scratches. I use it for my project and it looks very good.

If no one told me, I thought this could have been stainless steel. For a 1/32" product, this aluminum square plate has no bend, no flex, amazing. The thinness means it will fit in a project I'm working on. Since it's aluminum I know I won't be having to go buy specialty drill bits. I'm pleased with these.

I can't vouch for the alloy, but the size, especially the thickness is right on. The description is ambivalent about 1/8" or 3 mm.Mine have slight burrs on the edge, but it wouldn't take much filing to fix that. The protective covers were in place. I didn't take any care to not scratch the aluminum so I may have done some damage, but mostly they look great.
