When I first got my compactor many years ago bags were paper . These are plastic type and much stronger as well. They are also larger so I can put more trash in it. I use my old compactor in my garage so much more than household trash go into it. I am able to have one bag hold much more than the old paper type bags . Very strong and doesn’t get pierced by anything . I don’t believe they come with ties to close the bag but other than that have been very happy with this item.

We moved in a house with a Kitchen Aid trash compactor, and these bags fit perfectly. Love the holes that help keep the bag in place without slipping.

Tie wraps don’t work on compactors you are compacting all week the tie wrap can’t keep it closed . Either tie wrap need to be made longer and better or bag needs to have draw closure made in it. The bag itself is made well

My favorite thing is how strong these bags are and you absolutely cant beat the hole tabs to place over your buttons on the sides of the compactor so it holds your sides down. You can mash down tons of trash and these bags do not tear.
