Just works. Slight hum you can hear if you are nearby (I have two of these both with about 200-250 watts of LED loading). Not dimmable. They get toasty warm, so don't put them near any curtains.But ah my friends and oh my foes they give a lovely light.

(See update below) I've had this supply operating outside for about 3 weeks with no issues. I used it to replace a Mega-Catch power supply. I needed to do a little soldering and weather protection (though they do supply no solder connectors) and connect the correct terminal for the Mega-Catch, but the Mega-Catch is working, and this supply is much cheaper and arrived much faster. The key will be how long this supply lasts, but I cannot speak to that just yet (see below, now I can speak to that).(Update) Now I can speak to the durability of this supply. It lasted about 4 months. We had a terrible week of storms and then recently a deluge with inches of rain. This supply was off the ground. I had one of my original supplies working on another Mega-Catch about 70 ft away and that one was fine after the storm. This one died. It was a bad storm and lightning struck rather close by, so who knows exactly what went wrong, but I lost a bit of my fondness for this supply, at least for outdoor use.

There is a slight delay for the lights to come on. Overall happy with the unit. This replaces a product that only lasted a couple of years. Will have to wait and see how long this one lasts.

bought it to power up two-way radio in factory environment.Easy to install. Good value for money.Well protected from element and it is 1/2 price of comparable brand name.Will buy again
