Great light for the price! 30ch mode will have the most customizability for lighting designers and 4ch or 6ch mode is good for beginners in Dmx. It’s built pretty well a plastic casing with a metal mounting bracket. I’d recommend if you want a super budget mini JDC-1

I do sound and lights for bands, so I like lights that throw nice beams and make smooth transitions. DJ lights don't do well on my stages because they can be distracting.THIS is a DJ light for sure, and it's a pretty good one. LOTS of quick flashes and bright transitions... too much for a band... WAYYYYYYY too much! But man, for a DJ, this is a pretty solid choice.Bright, compact, QUICK and pretty exciting... for a mobile DJ setup a few of this will rerally put on a show. I gotta give it five stars, even though it's not my preference. I can see how it could work for dance/EDM DJ music, for certain.
