The screen was exactly as described and works perfectly in our 2015 Toyota Corolla. Installation was easy if you are comfortable working on minor car maintenance and electronics with ribbon cables yourself. Fits exactly like the OEM screen that had a failed lower section.

Digitizer appears well-made, installs easily and properly in place of the original one and works so far while solving the dreaded touch issue. The hardest part in replacing the digitizer, was removing the radio system from my Corolla (2014). Ratcheting wrench with extension is a must. Some of the bolts were torqued to a such a degree it was impossible to remove with a mere screwdriver. Also make sure to cover the area underneath with a soft towel to prevent scratches while you unplug all the wires from the radio system, as it has some sharp metal in the back.Opening the radio itself is somewhat delicate and time consuming procedure as you must carefully detach the wiring and remove the components to get to the screen. Some people have mentioned that they were confused as to which side of the digitizer is supposed to go where in the older reviews. Perhaps the product has been updated, but it is very clear how to properly orient the panel. First, the digitizer panel has a narrow double sided tape running along the edge on one side to attach the seal piece that sits between the digitizer and the LCD. Second, you can see on which side the wire is coming out and compare to the existing digitizer installation. The most infuriating part in this is that Toyota is charging 1000's of dollars to customers to replace their defective radios, while probably taking the defective one, refurbishing them for pennies on dollar and reselling to the same unsuspecting customers.

My wife's Camry had the broke touch screen, replacing the digitizer is the fix.Opened up the radio, removed the old one, popped in the new one.. connected the ribbon cable back up, screwed everything back together and went out to the car..Plugged the radio into power and the screen lit up green, then there was a puff of smoke and I immediately unplugged the radio.Turn out the corner of the digitizer wasn't seated correctly.. on the glass/plastic and it shorted out. It melted the corner of the digitizer, and the ribbon cable going to the radio.. and the ribbon cable I the radio.Basically.. it fried the whole thing.$300 later we have a new used radio that still has a broken touch screen.Should have just bought an Android radio and have been done with it.... Stupid screen...

The touchscreen in my wife's Camry quit working about six months ago. I starting searching online for an inexpensive way to fix it because the Toyota dealership wanted an outrageous amount to repair it. I came across a YouTube video with a link to this replacement touchscreen on Amazon. I figured for only $17.00 I'd give it a shot. It works perfectly now. The One THAT MUST BE OBEYED (wife) is thrilled. Between the YouTube video and the touchscreen from Amazon I couldn't go wrong.

2014 corolla, not a simple installation but works well when installed. Fixed touchscreen not working in certain spots. Definitely worth the time for the money.

This item fix my issue with my stereo with the common problem of the ghost screen pretty simple to install. If you know what you’re doing this item save me a lot of money replacing the stereo either same OEM or aftermarket either or save me a lot. I can’t believe people get charged the arm in the leg to replace the stereo when it only cost them this much to fix itI will Give me another review later, but I’m sure this item will last it’s well built. Looks like good quality.

Team,You guys are a saviour with this product!Installation was extremely easy BUT take your time and do it slow, taking pictures of the wirings before and after installation to review you did it all correctly. An installation manual would have been great but it’s ok, given there are videos on Youtube for some reference. BUT the Audio/Navigation (AN) system many not be the same hardware as depicted in those videos. If your AN system looks something like the one showed on the photos attached, you can directly dismantle the display head alone, without opening the side arms/bolts.Bluetooth reconnection and factory rest/memory clear to fix it:After installation, if your bluetooth module is not connected, just keep pressing Apps button and turn on and off the headlights.Press INIT and Yes, then, additionally if needed press Memory clear and click Yes. Restart the car and enjoy your touch screen and Bluetooth again.
