With this Trailer Wheel Spindle Nut Retainer you do not need the cotter pin and the retainers clip over top of the nut after you have the nut set, it is a lot better and lasts longer then the cotter pin.

The steel was harder than it should be, the ears broke on the retaining piece. Disappointing. The nut was decent but worked.

Zero stars couldn't even use them when you try to bend the tabs on the washed they just snap off total cr@p
