INSTALLATION STEPS
STEP 1&STEP 2
►Shut off the power to your furnace (or any other appliance), prior to making any repairs. There will usually be a light switch (toggle switch)on or near your furnace. If this switch is not present, furnaces have a dedicated breaker; locate your furnace breaker and shut your unit down.
► Remove the Sensor. Find the broken sensor. The sensor is easily accessible and typically mounted by one 1/4” hex head screw. Upon removing this screw, the sensor will slide out so that you can easily clean it. Carefully remove the sensor;
STEP 3
Remove one sensor and replace it with our new sensor.
STEP 4
Simply reconnect the wire if you’ve taken it off, remount the sensor to the burner assembly using the 1/4” screw, replace the door(s) on the unit, and turn the power back on.
STEP 5
Check Your Results. If the unit takes a few extra seconds to start up or the fan immediately kicks on and runs for a bit, this is normal. Shutting down the power to the unitcan cause it to reset and run through a short series of checks before trying

In the middle of freezing temps in Ohio our furnace started acting up. I ordered this part on amazon and my husband was able to easily install it, furnace is back to working like brand new…and this part was delivered to us the very next day after I ordered it.

Very quick & easy fix for my gas furnace which seemed to be going out occasionally over the span of about 1 week. Did some research & it sounded like I may need to replace this - I pulled my old one out (easy to do, look on YouTube) & it was indeed kind of dirty/worn so I cleaned it up a little w/ emery paper & I was right back in business. I ordered a 3 pack of these replacements for cheap, I used one to replace the old one I had cleaned up for temporary use, and taped the other 2 to the side of my furnace so they’re right there when I’d ever need to replace one again.

Not compatible for RGRM furnace as said. The unit received does not match the picture shown in the sales ad.The received part is too short and has the wrong orientation. The flange MIGHT be able to be moved to fix the orientation and add some length but it is pretty tight on the ceramic.
