This is a very well built and sturdy switch. We used ring connectors to connect the wires to the terminals. This is the best way to achieve the tight connections. This is the link for the ring connectors. This particular one is for 12 AWG wire, but they have for other size wires too. Although nicely built with a good firm feel, the screw terminal do not hold wire safely or securely. No matter how hard they are snugged, the wire can easily work loose. Must be used with lug terminations for safety.
