What I found interesting about this set was that all the wheels were marked with the grit - BY HAND.Many of these sanding wheels are more of the type you expect for use with a Dremel rotary tool, but are for a hand drill. I suspect a die grinder would be way too fast for these wheels. I think this was pointed out in another review.I have used just a few of the these wheels and they do wear fairly quickly, then again, so do sanding wheels and drums on a Dremel. The flap disks are quite stiff. I didn't find the wheels to unravel when using a cordless drill (Ridgid).Given how many are in the kit, they appear to be a fair deal...if you can use them all.

Very little to like about this order. It took weeks to arrive and when it finally did, all the various sizes of flap wheels were hard and solid. Nothing flapping. If I used these on anything it would be destroyed rather than fine-sanded for finishing.

If it ain't here you may not need it!None of these are really big or really small. These are that good intermediate size that doesn't need an angle grinder. These are perfect for those jobs that are too big for the rotary tool but need to be done like porch railing or stripping paint from metal outdoor furniture.

What a variety of flap discs and abrasive wheels you get for a drill or die grinder. The cone shapes are hard, so I think they wrapped the sandpaper around a resin or wood core. Flap wheels never last all that long, but I didn't find these to be any better or worse than others I've had. They're good for dealing with curves or holes that you want to insert it into. I would note that I wasn't able to use these in a rotary tool because these have a 1/4" shank, where the rotary tool takes 1/8". It's nice to be able to order an assortment with so many different sizes and grits, I'm happy with them.

Pretty wide selection of Flap Wheel sanders in this pack, They remove a lot of material when used in a hand held rotary tool. Even the 120 grit seems pretty aggressive. I should have paid a little more attention to the sizes of the wheels included as most of my projects are too small for a good portion of these disks. I have found a lot of usage from the .8 and the .63 tree shaped sanding disks? they get into the groves made when carving shapes and letters in wood. Decent set just not the best choice for what I do. They seem well made and do seem to last a good amount of time.

The flap wheel sanding set can be used for all sorts of applications with the myriad of shapes and sizes and diverse grits. The sanding pads are well-affixed on the 1/4" shafts and so far, I haven't found any issues using them. The set of 64 sanding bits come in two bags, separating the flap wheels from the sanding spools. It's pretty basic packing, but it's fully adequate for the price.
