The mic is very sensitive and clear, it can pick up even subtle sounds. It's easy to operate and very incognito. The pen looks like a normal, solid pen, and the writing feature is smooth and easy. I'm picky when it comes to pens, and this is one I'll use in general. I like that it comes with ink refills and all the attachments you need to listen to the recording with or without connecting it to your computer.I would not suggest writing with it while recording, or if you do, just be prepared that it sounds like scraping on your recording.

Gave to a friend for xmas. He responsded this is an excellent buy for your money. Works great. Decent sound quality, easy to use, and compact. Zero complaints. Prefect to take into meetings.

I got this for my husband as a present and he loves it. It actually works as a pen and has replacement ink as well. The voice recording part is easy to use and its battery has lasted awhile as well! It’s very easily hidden , Put this in your pocket and no one would know that you are recording!

I am giving this pen recorder 4 stars, only because the screw threads striped slightly when tightened. But I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, the sound, use, ability to not be noticed and short time to charge with hours of use. Add low cost, makes this a good buy.

I got this for my 15 yr-old son. He used to have a different one that was bigger, but it broke. I love that this is compact and easy to carry around and have on-hand. My son likes to use voice recorders for making his own sound bite montages. He will love how easy this one is to use!

I have to return this product. The recording button is not easy to use - hard to tell when you are recording and when you are not recording. The technology used for the pen recorder is very old. Not very compatible with my Macbook or other apple products.
