This foam is working! This thing has super sticky adhesive, it’s doing it job by absorbing unwanted resources from the back of my woofer speaker. Perfect size for 6,5 inch woofer.Awesome!

At first I was a little confused about these foam rings and where the proper place was to install them. I thought that they went around the edge of the speaker in between the wood or metal and the speaker, but this phone is very thick so that was clearly not the case. These go inside the door panel or box that the speaker is mounted to, opposite of the speaker. This will help to absorb any vibrations coming from the source of the speaker into the surrounding material. I place the large circular inner piece inside the box right behind the speaker. These are very thick, but I'm honestly not sure how well they absorb sound, not like proper sound dampening rubber.

Came in the box with some of the foam rings compressed. Even after letting it sit for a few hours the foam has not restored to original shape. I'm concerned it will compress when installed in the car and not make a good seal around the speaker.
