I just love these lights! The tube is smaller than I thought it would be so I was worried but they are super bright and gorgeous! The 66' length fit the front of our house just perfectly and they went up quickly. My husband did not want to hassle decorating the house but a neighbor put up lights so he grudgingly agreed to do it. Our old rope lights were just one color and really looked old and worn. He found these on Amazon and ordered them, put them up the day they came and was so pleased with how they look ordered two more strands for the yard! They have multiple functions so you can set different patterns too.

Looks great, be careful not to pull to hard when wrapping around deck rail ect. or they will not work from point of over tightening and then there junk.

These lights are Bright, the 8 different functions you can select manually are all nice and offer distinct patterns. We do like the colors. We've used them for about 3 months with great success as part of an outdoor Christmas and Holiday display. I look forward to hanging them up again next year for the holidays. Easy 4 out of 5 stars from our family. Nice LEDs.

We used these LED rope lights to add some ambiance to my backyard for a family barbecue. The 66ft length was more than enough to line the fenced area around a gazebo. The lights were bright but not harsh, I would describe them as a warm type lighting. The set was simple to setup, I managed to extend them to cover the entire space I was wanting to cover. The lights have a clear plastic tube like most traditional rope lighting. I was grateful they are weatherproof because it did drizzle, but the lights were unaffected. The multiple lighting modes were fun to play with, the kiddos liked the 'Twinkle/Flash' mode. I appreciated the low-voltage safety feature since the lights were on for several hours. I usually check for heat with a new set because the older style lights can get hot pretty quick. We left these on for hours and the lights had little if any heat. However, the non-waterproof plug required some careful placement so we made sure the outlet area was safe. Overall, these lights have been reliable and attractive for our purpose in an outdoor setting. I recommend these lights and will order additional ones in the future.

What I did like about this set of lights is that its fairly easy to secure. I secured mine with small cord hooks going around my ceiling, and double sided tape around the furniture I strung the remaining lights on. The rope is not heavy at all and is rather flexible, so its easy to hang up and small hooks should be strong enough. There is a button on the plug to cycle through the 8 light settings in lieu of a remote, and only one of those 8 settings is for a steady light. The lights themselves are dim and I notice there are some lights with a warmer glow and others with a cooler one. It's more noticeable than I'd prefer; I wish the lights were either all warm or all cool. I also would have preferred a remote control to cycle through the settings and a setting to change the brightness of the light. For a small room like the one I've displayed the lights in, its still rather dim overall so for a larger room these would be almost pointless. If the lights were brighter and there was a remote control these lights would be perfect for hanging in your room.
