I’m very picky about my gear so when it came time for a new snowboard jacket I tried many options from Patagonia to Kjus toBurton and Pure Organic. None offered the mix of features, value, and warmth of this 686 Hydra Thermagraph jacket. The fit is perfect -the insulation is just right for a wide range of temperatures and the price is hard to beat. I love the off-center zip that keeps the zipper out of my neck and face. And the design of the neck with ventilation holes minimizes the tendency for this area to freeze or cause fogging of the goggles. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase. I’ve been riding for 38 years and this is my favorite jacket to date.

Got this as a gift and my bf loves it! He wore it to snowboard in Colorado and said it was so warm and comfortable and he loves that the zipper doesn’t hit his mouth/nose! And I think the techwear style is cool

The flies orange color that is shown here is definitely not what you get. It’s most like a hot neon orange. Functionality seems ok but the colors are completely mis represented.

No insulation in the arms is something that should be in bold letters in the description. Wind will go right through this jacket. Is it built nice? yes, absolutely. You need intensive layering below 20 degrees.
