This was a perfect fit and install was a breeze. It remediated the noise from my previous fan. Build quality was excellent as well, it’s very sturdy and well made.

I’m usually skeptical about buying “universal fit†parts from Amazon. I was anticipating on making some adjustments and cutting here and there. To my surprise this was a direct fit to my Broan fan. It’s working great.

I watched a bunch of DIY videos of people replacing bathroom fans and was a little nervous. This was the EASIEST 5 minutes I have ever experienced. It worked and we sold the condo without a costly repair person to come in and replace it. I am a 58 year old woman who easily accomplished this task.

Item fit as a replacement for old burned out exhaust fan. Just need to make sure item is exact one so take a picture of old one and compare or it will not fit properly. Works great! Hope it lasts. Quiet and reasonable price. Made well too.Takes alittle pushing up on it to get metal tags to slip into place. Recommend.

As you can see in the picture, I had to measure the noise of this thing since I could not believe how loud it was. My iWatch measured 75dbs, which is almost the same noise rating (78 db) I got from the 15-year-old Broan-Nuetone unit I was trying to replace (Model 688-K). This is definitely as loud as those old units.That said, I gave them two starts since this fan actually fit very well in the old casing, and I was able to install it without problems. So it will fit and should work to replace those old units without issues. However, they a brand new Broan 688 cost half the price in Amazon, so why buy this one?

The exhaust fan started making a grinding noise. I figured I could do it how hard could it be? I pulled out old fan a bit challenging but accomplished task. Of course not available at the local stores so took picture and google sent me to Amazon. I measured accordingly to DIY video and the new replacement fit perfect. I am women watch me roar, ha!
