The PQY AN6 transmission cooler line kit has been a great addition to my project car, both in terms of functionality and aesthetics. Its dual-braided construction, with steel braiding for durability and nylon braiding on the exterior, gives me peace of mind. The steel braid isn’t just for show -it reinforces the hose, providing added resistance to wear and tear. Knowing this, I feel more confident that it can handle the demands of my transmission system without prematurely failing. The 6AN sizing, which translates to roughly a 3/8" nominal inner diameter, fits well for automotive applications, even though it’s not a standard size in a general sense. It’s designed with performance in mind, particularly for fuel and oil lines, which makes it an appropriate choice for my project car. One of the things I like most about this kit is that the braiding isn’t just for looks, unlike some aluminum braided hoses that feel flimsy and purely cosmetic. This kit balances form and function, which aligns nicely with the resto-mod style I’ve been working toward in my engine bay. The black finish keeps the aesthetics sleek and understated, complementing the overall look of the build. While the kit performs well, I’d say it doesn’t quite match the caliber of true racing-grade components. However, that’s an understandable trade-off given the accessible price point. It’s important to approach the installation process with care and patience. Properly clamping and sealing all connections is crucial; otherwise, there’s a risk of leaks, which can be frustrating to deal with later. I took my time with the installation, double-checking every step, and I haven’t encountered any issues.Overall, this kit works as intended and looks great in the process. It’s a functional, budget-friendly solution for anyone upgrading their transmission cooler lines without venturing into high-end racing parts. For my project car, it’s been a good fit, both mechanically and visually, and I’m satisfied with its performance and value.

Worked perfect for my application. I had the engine and trans out of the car already, so installation was simple. Connecting to the radiator would be very straight forward, but I'm running and external cooler, so I had to get a little creative with the connections. Take that into consideration if you aren't using the radiator for your transmission cooling.
