The connection doesn’t work. You will need an adapter for the voltage. All the bulbs of the lamp are damaged when I connected. The information of the voltage for the bulbs are. Or correct.

This cord with in-line foot switch is perfect for use with floor lamps that are difficult to reach up under the shade to operate the switch. Or any other lamp that may be hard to easily reach.This cord comes with the wires stripped at the end so you can replace the plug from the lamp with this cord and switch. There is a nifty solderless connector to use to connect the wires to your lamp cord.I really, really like the switch. The base is a wide, flat-bottomed switch encased in soft PVC plastic and the switch actuator is a small, round step-on actuator that operates very easily and smoothly. It is very stable where you place it. I think you could also lay it upon a table and operate it with a finger should that meet your needs better than the floor switch.In my case I wanted flexibility to be able to use this with more than one lamp, so I installed a socket at the stripped-wires end. I plugged in my floor lamp and can later move the switch/cord to another lamp.

I just wanted a cord with male and female plugs and a foot switch in-line. I thought this was it, but did not understand the pictures and what they represented. I did not want to cut my lamp cord and install a foot switch so ordered this one that is wired. However, it requires you to cut off the male plug on your lamp and use a flimsy little connector to connect this in-line. But I did not want to do that! I wanted my lamp cord left intact. So I managed to find a clear female plug to match this cord and will install on this (doubling the cost) and I will hopefully have what I need.

The 6ft Light Switch worked fine, but I realized I needed a longer cord. If you're looking for something longer, make sure to double-check the length before ordering. It’s great for standard use, but just not long enough for my setup.

This is a surprisingly underrated thing. I think maybe everything should have foot switches. This is industry standard for high quality cords and connectors. I think it will last a very long time measured in generations.I plan to use these in a lamp restoration festival (Rest Fest!) around the house. It's high time all these various parts that have been used to fix our lamps over the decades all stepped in line - so to speak.
