I had work done that my side yard was all tore up and turned into a muddy mess after rain or melting snow. With having a dog I tried many things to help keep the mud out of the house. TARPS DO NOT work as they are too slippery and get worse when rain or snows. This actually worked well. My only complaint is that I cut it to make strips to cover a 8 foot wide area and the edges that were cut frayed pretty quickly. I put the stakes about 3 inches from the edge so it hasn't been an issue but if I would have put the stakes closer to the edge would it have stayed... install was easy, they're lightweight and easy for my dog to walk on. I'm just using this temporarily until warmer weather and I can put down grass seed.

So far this has worked very well. It’s strong and looks like it will last through the growing season. You need heat to cut the material or melt holes for plants. For holes you’ll need a template to shape them uniformly. You need to secure the material with stakes or the wind will catch it and make a mess of your plants. I’m very happy with it and will buy again.

This fabric is great, high quality. Well worth the money, I didn't even cover it with mulch. Make sure to buy hold downs.

The quantity for the price was fabulous. Double and almost triple the quantity compared to other options. Easy to cut to fit the shapes of areas to cover. I’m buying another roll I’m so happy. Want to have it on hand when I do any landscaping.

I had to place some stones on top of the fabric to keep it in place until I ordered my fake grass. Several holes are now in the fabric, and it tears very easily.
