  • Yes all of the bowls sing, however these bowls are made of high quality thick bell metal so much sure to tap them first and apply a good amount of constant pressure toward to the center. The 8 inch bowl just needs a single tap to make it ring/sing.

  • Yes! Our bowls go through a 3 part process. Step 1 is a hammering stage to get the perfect shape. Step 2 is a smoothing and shinning stage to create a uniformed smooth finish. Step 3 - the finishing stage to create the circle design around the bowl.

  • Absolutely not! Most singing bowls are made of cheap, light, scratched metals that do not ring or sing for very long. We wanted you to focus on your meditation and mindfulness practice so we sourced high quality bell metal for longer lasting sounds.

  • A small amount are because they are hand made. Our bowls have significantly less scratches and damage because they are immediately packaged and cared for after they are made. Some dents and scratches are normal.

  • At the beginning of your lesson, introduce the Be Quiet bowl and demonstrate the sound by tapping the bowl. Then let people know that when they hear it, to finish up their conversations and bring their attention back to you.

This bowl is the nicest and best sounding in my collection! I was stunned at the quality and it is really hefty and feels solid! 4 inches is a great size and it sits right no my desk! At first I was wondering why they did not send a felt mallet but then I tried mine from my other singing bowls and it did not sing at all. these smaller bowls seem to need the wooden ones. Tap the bowl and omg it just keeps ringing! None of my small bowls ring like this. And then I played it on the cushion and it was nice but when i held it in my finger tips and started to make it sing I just sank into calmness. It was so easy to use and the little instruction card was really cute. I love this bowl! I tried taking a photo of what i mean by holding the bowl with your fingers

Ive ordered one of these before for the same price but it was much smaller and didn't sound as good and was very high pitched. This one is much thicker, better quality, and makes a nice full deeper sound. It's been a conversation starter anytime I have friends over. Everyone likes playing with it and and finds it really relaxing. Would recommend for the quality and price. Design is really cool too

I like that this singing bowl not only performs as intended but is also really beautiful to look at like a piece of art that is smooth to the touch. The sound is exactly what I wanted. After hitting the singing bowl with the light-weight mallet the beautiful and peaceful sound lingers, reverberating like a pebble rippling in a pond creating a nice calming effect for my mind and body. The singing bowl also serves as a gentle attention-getting tool for groups. The cushion is well-designed offering a quality touch to the entire aesthetic of the singing bowl. The mallet is easy to handle and fun to press into the bowl to make it sing. This singing bowl is a fun addition to my collection of tools for facilitating professionalmeetings and fun times with friends. I would purchase this bowl again.

I bought this for my brother as a gift for his new home. I have several of these types of bowl gongs and this one sounds perfect and sustains for about two minutes.I’d give 5 stars if the seller had also included a felt striker because when I use mine on it, the sound is glorious.

The bowl and pillow feel high quality. The bowl itself has a nice weight to it and produces a resonate ring. This is perfect in a small group setting.

This has become my favorite bowl, I have many I collect them, but this has a special tune and has an incredible resonance, it just keeps going and going and going I highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a special Singing bowl, the resonance definitely has a healing Sensation!

I purchased this product in order to bring some calm to my 9th grade students throughout the day. If you know anything about freshmen, you know that they can get loud. Instead of yelling to gain their attention, I’m now using the bowl in order to bring attention back to me in a chill and effective way. The first time I used it, the students completely stopped doing what they were doing and looked my way. It was amazing! The bowl is also helping me in terms of lowering my stress. The vibrations and the sound allow me to breathe and relax, even if just for a moment. I definitely recommend for educators and anyone that needs calm and tranquil moments in their day.
