These are just bricks for a Pacific Energy stove. It is tough getting replacement parts as they are a dealer only brand but my dealer closed years ago. Anyway, the bricks are a standard size so I grabbed these. The sweet thing is that they can be cut with a chop saw for the several bricks that need a cut. These bricks are surprisingly light (for a brick) but I guess that's by design.Replacement bricks are easy to cut and make fit. Five stars!

I expected the conventional fire bricks that are very heavy and hard to size if cutting is necessary.Using these on my smoker to assist in maintaining heat. Worked perfectly.,And they were trimmable as needed.

Hard to find in a retail store...just what was needed for my little wood stove...

They might work better in some situations but for our forge, they have begun heat splitting immediately during the first firing and when they are hot, they become crazy brittle. They might work better in lower heat environments but for a forge, they are not great.

I still haven't used them, I am going to create a platform with 26 other bricks to make a space on wheels to sit my metal melting foundry on, so if there are any pour spills, they will be caught on the bricks and will not hit the concrete.

The bricks were each rapped and nice no chips. They do cut very easy I had to cut 7 of them to fit in my wood heater. They are light but tough I had an extra one so I hit it hard and it didn’t break just to test it. We will see how it does this winter in the heater

We bought these as bricks to break in martial arts activities. They are made of some compacted material that doesn't fit our purpose (they are too soft and easily broken).
