would this work to attach a clothesline to the pole?
Answer 1:
Yes should work but as someone else posted may not have enough
adjustment to make a clothesline taut, made more for wire.
Would definitely work outside as I tested it by hanging in the open
for a month with lots of rain and it didn't rust

I put these into use in my yard about 3 months ago. They function well with no slop, and have not rusted or oxidized yet.

Works for what it’s needed. Slightly smaller (thinner material / less bulk) than I thought, but that’s a plus for the light duty that I required of it. I have no doubt that it will outlast me.

Not a real high grade stainless, but seem pretty strong. On corrosion, so far ok, but I would keep them clean and not near salt (or other electrolytes) .

I used these turnbuckles in my build of a lower and lean trellis structure for my Tomatoes. I attached the aircraft wire to these 8ft T-Posts, using 3 total at a distance of 10ft apart allowing me to have roughly 20ft distance of growing space per row. I did 2 rows so total 40ft roughly of wire was used. I bought a kit to use to attach the wire and crimps to secure the wire in place. The turnbuckles help to provide tension to the wire so it can be tightened or loosened as desired. Overall this was perfect for my trellis build. Would recommend!
