I've ben using various sizes SSR in past 8 years and they just work! No sound when they turn ON/OFF and no sparks between contacts, since there aren't inside! For an a instance, I'm using one that is turning on/off based on the temperature of the 3D printer's bed. It just works and works without any sound or problems! You can use these with Arduino boards and Arduino will send small signal to SSR and you don't need anything between SSR and Arduino! Now you can control much more than 5V and or 0.20MA!

The SSR that they selected for this board only works with AC loads, even though the product is advertised as rated for both. I discovered this the hard way when it didn't work, then I read the datasheet for the SSR.The screw terminals are also the lowest quality that I've ever seen. They are both hard to open if you want to use any wire bigger than about 22 awg, and don't tighten well on smaller wire.It's too bad, a good SSR board in this form factor would be very useful for automation.

According to the Songle data sheet for a SRD-03VDC-SL-C this a mechanical relay.

I was able to power and activate at least 3 relays (have not tested more) with only 5v but I can attest this is very durable because it came with absolutely 0 packaging outside of a weatherproof bag and got bent from shipping yet it works perfectly fine

I brought this relay board based on its picture showed good brand relay. But item came with non-name relay, that is not very good experience.
