This scrub pads do work well for griddle, grill grate or even cast iron cookware scrubbing. They're made out of thick vinyl - it's fairly non-scratch but does not stand up to the heat well, so make sure whatever you're cleaning is fully cooled down: if you can touch it with your hand, it's cool enough to be cleaned. I don't have a griddle, but I did use it both on the cast iron skillet as well as on a grill grate. It worked grate on the cast iron. Worked OK on grill grate. It took off all the minor burn accumulations, but I definitely felt like I needed more scrubbing power for larger chunks. Eventually, I had to switch to a proper scrubber to take them off anyway. My conclusion from this is that it works well only on a relatively flat & smooth surfaces.-1 star because these pads do get used up quickly. For example, I went through one and nearly finished a second one trying to scrub off the grill grate. One pad was enough for 2 cast iron skillet cleanings. I felt like they could definitely last longer.

Says hot and cold but if you use on hit griddle it will completely melt and ruin your grill.

I got this cleaning kit for my 36 inch Blackstone grill. it comes with 5 pads and the handle, which are all good quality. The handle piece is made of a sturdy plastic that can tolerate a good amount of heat. As long you are not leaving it on the hot grill and walking away, you shouldn't have to worry about damage to the handle or your grill. I was impressed with the Velcro hooks that attach to the scouring pads. I assumed that the heat from the grill would warp the hooks and they wouldn't work over time, but i have not had that issue yet ten uses in. Lastly, the pads themselves work extremely well. It is perfect for maintenance care of your Blackstone, but it wont be able to scrub off rust or seasoning layers. If you need to do that, you have other issues and will need to get some more heavy duty tools. this kit is a must have for your Blackstone!
