I needed to add a graphic equalizer to my home theater setup because Covid altered my hearing dramatically. Although I used to hear reasonably well, after a bout with covid my hearing changed. I needed to boost frequencies at 4,000 Hertz in order to hear correctly.This equalizer does the job perfectly. Not only can I boost that specific frequency, but I can also add gain to the mid and sub lows as well. With a little bit of experimentation, you can tune the sound in several bands to match the acoustics of your room.Although not advertised, on the top of the unit there is access to four potentiometers. These allow you to adjust the gain of the two inputs separately so that if you switch from one to the other they match.The separate output for a subwoofer with its own level control is a definite plus.I like this unit very much, and ordered another for a different application. If you buy it, I think you will be well pleased.One important point. When connecting power, connect the negative supply to the (-) input terminal. Then, connect the positive supply to BOTH of the other two terminals. Otherwise, the unit will not power up.

Power plug design is the devil will short out your equipment cause tapps are to bunched up and wire wont stay in or itches wires and boom new equipment

I needed an equalizer option to offset the Android head unit I put in my Hellcat. The Android head unit I installed was absolutely terrible and did nothing but distort the sound quality. This little EQ lets you dial it in perfectly and I run a big system in my car.. 2-10†subs, 1-8†and 2-6.5†in the back deck. All on independent Amps. 2-6x9†in the doors and 2 tweeters in the dash. It helped me dial in the sound better than any other option. I have used so far. Well worth the money. It feels solid, it’s built well and has the functionality I was looking for..

Nice little passive e.q. that has the pre-amp outputs to dial your sound exactly the way you want it. There is a pre-sub output as well to dial in your subwoofers in either stereo or mono which is a real nice feature. You have the ability to connect 3 amplifiers total to this equalizers using only a single input which again is a nice feature particularly if you want multiple channels and this has the ability to fade between sides or front to rear your choice. All said and done this is a neat little e.q. that does what I wanted and the price is good compared to the big name brands at the car audio stores and on line, and of course they are all likely made in China anyway. I cannot tell you what the total harmonic distortion ratio is with this device but, from my experience it is rather low compared to a lot of other real cheap audio products and I am quite happy with this and hope to get a great deal of playing time out of it.
