I have had those scissors for about 4 months now and have cut my own hair with them about 5 times.They cut well and are sharp and have remained so thus far.They also feel firm and precise, and can be adjusted for resistance to movement to get the feel, speed and precision you want.The metal seems to be of good quality, and the blades are one-piece.I mention this as I have seen other cheap scissors made out of multiple parts with very cheap metal used for the handle. This is not the case at all here.These are solid and good scissors that do the job.

I've never used curved scissors before to trim or groom any of my dogs (all poodles of varying sizes) but after recently watching my puppy's groomer use a curved pair of scissors, decided to invest in them. My puppy (a poodle terrier mix) hates the grooming process and since I already had a good set of clippers from past dogs, I have decided to just groom her myself. These scissors are VERY sharp and make quick work of her feet, around the face, etc. without running in to the problem of straight scissors attempting to cut along a wriggly curved line! Very happy I got them as it has made it easy to keep my puppy neat and trim!April 2024 - I'm writing an update because for reasons I can't understand, the last few times I've trimmed my dog's hair, the hair has begun to get caught in the last 1/8 end of the scissors, causing the hair to get pulled and my dog to feel the pinch. Needless to say, she does not like this and has begun to resist normal grooming trims. This morning, I felt along that end and on one side of the scissors, there is a rough patch that has developed, causing the hair to get caught and pinched. I've used the scissors only to groom my dog, so I'm assuming that the wear of the one blade against the other at the tip has caused this rough patch to develop. Definitely a drawback!

These were exactly as I had hoped...very sharp, easy to use, well-made. They work well for my short hair style and keeping my hair trimmed myself during COVID - I'm going to be an expert at hair cutting when this is all over! I recommend....just be careful as they are very sharp.

My initial reaction to these scissors was concern. As you can see in the picture, the blades are significantly wider than my two older scissors that are specifically for hair. Also, my father was a Barber and I remembered how his scissors were, very thin blades. So when I got these and held them I almost returned them simply because of how wide and seemingly thick the blades are. Tonight I used them to groom my dog who has very coarse hair. I was amazed! With every clip it felt like I was cutting through soft butter. I had my husband try them and he commented on how sharp they were and how smooth they cut. I am extremely glad I kept them and am happy to share my opinion of their quality and value. I am going to purchase a second pair exclusively to use on my very thick long hair only.

The curved and straight shears works wonderfully.My chunkers were working well and are now having the same issue that thinners have where the blades are crashing into each other. I have tried adjusting them and making them looser but they dont work

This is one of the best ways to get rid of those nasty longer hairs. You also can use it to trim the edges of your hair when they stick out.

Sharp and crisp. I can trim my bangs like a pro and attack those pesky split ends. Also saving me money because I can extend my visits to the salon. I can also keep my layers fresh by touching them up here and there.The symmetrical design and levers on both ends allows for (I assume) both righties and lefties.So if you want a professional grade shears for at home maintenance... I'd give these a shot. They're also so affordable and a great value.

Nice weight to the scissors cuts quite well although a few times the pet hair didn’t cut but rolled between the blades. But overall they may get better with use. Overall satisfied.
