I usually don’t take time to write reviews but when you buy an item that usually comes all jammed in an undersized box and spilling and it comes well packaged, I take a moment. I can’t yet speak of functionality, though they seem solid and correctly sized. It’s nice to see a seller take the time to individually place each screw in a small plastic bag and stack them neatly in a solid cardboard box. They actually look cute (if that’s possible for a eye hole screws) all tucked snug and orderly in the box.

I used this to lift and move my chicken's egg collection house. I pre-drilled some 3/8" holes and then threaded these eye hooks deep into the 2x4's for the egg house and I have no doubt in the strength of the eye hooks. These hooks are beefy and strong, although I won't get anywhere near to the 900 pound limit they work great for what I need. I could see these being used to hold hand-rails for bridge crossings, to hold string lights, or lifting strange things (like what I am using them for).These hooks are super strong, I use a Skidsteer with towing hooks to hook up to these eye hooks and move around my chicken houses. I want to save my back as much as possible so that I am not broken when I am older, and these hooks have helped to keep me safe by allowing me to use tractors to move equipment, and that means that things like this are priceless. We think these hooks are worth their weight in gold, and we have recommended them to neighbors because they are great.

I sleep in a hammock regularly, so I need good strong eye bolts with lots of penetration. These are good for the application. Suitable for indoor or under an awning since they are not stainless steel.
