These turned out to work out perfectly. When put in strategic positions, and I go through the drapes and close the drapes behind me, these magnetic clips will engage. Works out perfect for me.

In all fairness, I know these are not made for the outdoors, but I purchased them to keep the outdoor curtains on my pergola closed. They work great when it isn't very windy but a few of the backs fell off and they don't carry replacement backs so I will have to figure something out. I have used a couple of them on my indoor curtains and they work great indoors!

I am a night shift worker and my sleeping room has blackout curtains. However, my sleeping room faces east with big windows. So the slightest crack in the curtains was like a laser beam to the room. And my cats could be counted on to provide those cracks! These allow me to simply close my curtains and they are locked closed. The magnets even grab on their own! If you can use a thumb-tack or a push-pin, you can install these in a couple of minutes. The cats still jump up on the window sills, but the curtains stay closed!

I wish I would have found these magnets years ago. In Florida we get tropical force winds, and high winds with blowing rain. These magnets hold my curtains together and keep the lanai dry despite the blowing winds. This magnets are strong and are more powerful than you think. They are easy to install - The pin goes through the fabric like an army pin. Put the magnets together so that they line up easily on install.

They are magnets and work like magnets should. but left gaps too wide on the curtains i was trying to keep the wind cold and rain off my coverd Patio.

These work as described. Not quite for me because of the high winds in my area.
