Real bat! You can see the little veins in the wings and hands. Holding it up to a light is just gorgeous. Strongly sealed. there is no way of opening it.

I purchased this set of 7 insects for a birthday girl who loves bugs.They are each encased in a small clear rectangular resin block, allowing the viewer to inspect each specimen from all angles. When I opened the outer packaging and they slid out, I got the "creepy-crawlies" looking at them. They look like they should still be alive and moving.She's going to LOVE them (and I'll be happy to have them out of my house!)A 5-star collection.
