This filter fit perfectly in my Sub Zero refrigerator and stopped the “needs new filter†indicator from flashing. It seems to clear odors, including onion and garlic, from the refrigerator cavity as well as the EOM filter.

So these are a UV light and carbon filter in one unit. Air from the fan on top passes through to neutralize smell. You’re supposed to replace them every 90 days but let’s be real a it’s expensive from Subzero and the door is behind an entire shelf you have to remove. How do you make it easier? Well make it 1/3 the cost and easy to use! Look at my pictures - other than spending 3 minutes removing the shelf, it only takes 10 seconds to remove the old one and stick this in. It latches perfectly like OEM and fired up with no errors. I let it run for a couple of hours and we just cleaned the whole unit top to bottom. As such we were able to tell that this unit does reduce smells as we just put some leftover Butter Chicken in and the smells were neutralized after circulating for a while. Seems like a great value, and anyone can replace it easily.

This is a perfect fit in my Sub-Zero refrigerator. And at less than a third of the cost of an OEM replacement, I'm thrilled. And there haven't been any alarms from the fridge about this not being an OEM part. Replacing the filter is super simple. The hardest part is clearing the stuff off of one shelf to access the panel in the back. Recommended!

My Subzero fridge kept reminding me that that the Air Filter Cartridge needed to be replaced, so I was happy to order this item. I popped out the old one (I followed the instructions on my fridge itself) and put in this product. It worked flawlessly and my fridge didn't complain that it wasn't a Subzero product.

Alarm going off everyday after three weeks. USE Sub Zero certified products instead of these after market parts that don't work.
