I use this to filter the dust and chips from my Dewalt planer. I run some metal AC ducting from the dust port on my planer to a plastic reducer to this bag. I just leave the bag sitting next to the planer and it does the job. I’m a hobbyist wood worker so I’m not doing a high volume of dust collection so I can’t speak to how this holds up over a large batch of work but for my needs this is great. The zipper doesn’t catch at all and works smoothly. It was easy to fit to the back of the planer and do ting was maybe $20 of additional material. And the value is great.

I bought it for my DW735 planer, I heard the fan is powerful on the DW735, and only found out how powerful it is when I actually use it, it made a huge mess in the garage without any dust collection system. I bought this bag and a 4 inch hose, it made day and night difference, made the milling process much more enjoyable. The inlet is 5inch, but my hose is 4inch, so I have a kind fold the inlet like I show in the picture, I might have to find a adapter for that

I bought this after seeing someone use it on a DeWalt 735 planer. It has a good thick feeling, a window to see how much dust there is and a zipper bottom to empty. There was very little dust that escaped it. I couldn’t be more happy. The only knock I’ll give it is the opening. It is too wide for a 4†hose. The draw strings won’t give you a tight seal so I supplemented with a zip tie for A/C ducts. The only disadvantage is you shouldn’t remove shouldn’t remove the hose from the bag once it’s sealed. No big deal for me but others might find it annoying. A much better deal than the $75 bag from Rockler.

This is a very nice bag; thick, sturdy and sizable. The opening however, is too large for 4-5 inch duct size. I have a four-inch duct and it was too big. The thickness of the fabric, combined with the creases and folds that form while cinching it over the duct, I could not fit the clamp over it. Instead, I used a large zip tie and secured it. It appears to be secure for now. Thanks

Replaced the bag on my old Delta duct collector with this one ,100 times better. Controls finer duct better ,has a clear window on the side to see how full it is and super easy to clean. Perfect for my use

Solidly put together and works. I have it clamped to a flexible conduit and connected to my DeWalt thicknesser. The only issue is the white colour, gets dirty and stained if one is not careful. Hard to clean up given the weave pattern of the thick material.

This is a quality made product. As people have mentioned in reviews, it does need a five inch clamp. I use mine on my Dewalt 735 thickness planer and it works really well. I do worry that the zipper will not hold up well over time as it feels a bit less than what is needed.

The bag itself is a great quality bag, the only thing to bear in mind is the diameter of the opening for a adapter/hose attachment is 6 inch wide not the 5 1/2 in the description.
