The biggest difference between the two kits is that the Deluxe Kit has more shelter items included. There are of course additional items that are also added to the Deluxe Kits which are Essential Kits does not have.

All our Food and water have up to a 5-year shelf life (delivered within 1-6 months after the manufacturing date). The food & water will need to be replenished after the expiration date.

I bought 2 of these kits, one for my vehicle and one for my home. They arrived early. All the items included were quality and comprehensive. The Mil-Spec Survival Blanket is great! The NOAA Radio reception is clear, the radio itself attractive. A lanyard's included. Vacuum sealed SOS Food Bars and water pouches are well designed and protected to last 5 years. First aid supplies, whistle, and crank flashlight are useful items to have. Even the 2-Tone bag is attractive! The straps are wide to make carry comfortable. You can add additional personal items to top up your kit if you wish. I was very impressed with this Go-Bag. I'd highly recommend it to give you peace of mind!
