Purchased these for downtown event for work as giveaways for the kids. They were exactly like described and worked perfectly. There weren't any broken ones out the 36 (I have ready many reviews on other fiber optic wands and that seemed to be a common problem). They were a great price for the set and will definitely be buying these again. My daughter loved the one I set aside for her, and after a few months it still works just as good.

These are awesome! They're not just for little kids, even teenagers and some of us adults love them too! They are great for any kind of party, festive time or when you just want something fun to do. At less than a dollar each, they are very affordable. I got the set of 36 and the first one out of the package worked great. My only disappointment was that the tips were curved because the plastic bag they were packaged in was a little too short and the folded over seam went down over the wands and bent the tips of the fiber optic hairs. Not a deal breaker, but they need a longer bag and even a piece of cardboard so they won't bend and curve. I like that these have a choice of settings for different glow/flashing effects, and the wrist band is a great idea.

We used these in place of sparklers and are SO fun. Easy to use and love that they are more safe. They have pull tabs that you take out and then you can use and multiple colors.

Picked these up to add a safe element to our New Year's Eve celebrations that wasnt fireworks because we have young kids who will be out and about. I think these are a really fun item for younger kids to join in the celebration at times like New Year's or 4th of July, which are typically more firework heavy celebrations - without actually needing to hand them a firework or flame. Much safer! They are a good value, with the batteries lasting several hours. The light settings all have strobelight type effects. There are no mellow light settings, like a fade or always-on. I do think this is a miss on the part of the manufacturer. A static "on" setting would be a great add.
