Southwire’s 07200 Replacement Metal Guards for Work Lights are suitable bulb guard replacements for the Southwire model #s 07145 & 07538. These guards feature easy to open wing nuts, secure lamp guard, and can be used for indoor/outdoor lighting systems. The metal guards accommodate large bulbs up to A23 (most household bulbs are smaller A19). Bottom open-ended bulb cage makes light bulb changes more convenient and molded lamp holders are durable for a long life.

I purchased this for a light I am making and it worked fine. Can't beat it for the price. Looks good on industrial style light or as a safety cage. Has a plastic coating on the cage and two nut and bolts that hold it on the socket.

3 of 5 ordered were missing mounting hardware and had to be returned, this created an un-necessary trip.

Yeah, very minimalist but the rubber coating gives it the color and boldness to make it work. I like.

Opening the box (and replacements) to find the screws and nuts rolling around. Putting them together netted me an incomplete set of screws and nuts. Shipped back the two in hopes of getting two more with all the screws and nuts, nope. Frustrated.

Bought 2 for use with the ($8) ikea hanging light. Looks industrial but polished. Looks great in my nursery.

This product did the job well enough but the cage was a little warped so if you set it on the counter it wasn't exactly flat, it would wobble. On the fan we used it on it isn't necessarily noticeable but it did seem like a little bit of shoddy work. However for the price I think it worked out great. Similar products sell at Lowes for twice the price. I think I can deal with it being a little crooked.
