Wires were too short. But after reading the reviews. I extended the wires. Got it going. But when going over 2000 rpms. My speedometer stopped working and my odometer goes blank. Remove the voltage regulator and doesnt stop working over 2000 rpms. Im going to have to conclude the voltage regulator is bad. I knew when i cut the wires. I voided any warranty. Thats on me. Just wanted other to be aware!

First of all, the delivery was originally due 4 days from now. Shipment was quick and appreciated.According to the code given I needed this voltage regulator. I looked at several reviews, and seen where several complained about the line going to the hookup under the seat was too short. I ordered it anyway. Got it and started looking at how the wire was located, and decided nope not gonna try to get the existing wire out and try to get the new one in. Cut the existing one and the new one and spliced them. Saved a lot of work. Got it all hooked up and tried to start it, and it started right up. Went for about a 20 mile ride to see if I would get the engine light again...No more engine light, and all is well.

So far it’s been doing a great job, no issues. Cable runs a little long, especially the one the stator That’s fine, I just zip tied it.
