Bought this as a spare since we both got heated vests for Christmas. This battery works better than the one that came with the vest!

My wife recently purchased an Ororo coat which came with a 14000mAh battery pack, so this it a bit of an upgrade for her so it'll last just a bit longer. It is compatible just as they say. It takes some time to charge, but we always charge ours overnight and it's always completely full by morning. I can't say how long it takes, though the 6-7 hours we typically have it plugged in for is more than enough. It's not a bad price for a 20000 battery either at the listed $29. I'd recommend it for sure as a backup or replacement battery.

First let's level set.A "typical" heated jacket/whatever will operate on 7.4V with 2 Amps. That's a fairly high draw circuit, so it's really out of reach of a typical USB connection. This means a barrel connector (more on that in a minute). Now when looking for an additional/replacement battery, you MUST stay at the 7.4V but you can vary on the amps as long as it's at LEAST the published requirement. So a 7.4V with 3 Amp battery WILL work on something requiring 2 Amps.Second, the connector. There's a little more variability there in the wild. Mine is a 3.8mm jack. That's typical and indeed in all of the heated clothing I have, the 3.8mm is standard. So all that in mind...this battery works great. The 20,000 mAh is accurate. I especially appreciate the ability to look on the battery while in use and get real-time readouts of the voltage and amps being used. It sounds like a small thing but it really isn't.This said, also appreciated is the inclusion of two adaptors (a 3.5 and a 3.8). This makes it useful for other applications requiring said power. The built in port is 4mm so yes, I have to use an adaptor. And it works just fine.Charging does take a bit, roughly 90 min via a USB-C 98w charger. As for how long it's going to last...well, the description gives some idea but without knowing the exact application they are all theoretical. In real world terms, my jacket set to high (torso only) gets me roughly 3 hours. If I heat the attached hood on my jacket that goes to about 2.5 hours. All on high. Takeaway here is that there's variability depending on what jacket/whatever you're using, so don't take the published times for this battery in a vacuum.A very good battery here - it works seamlessly with all of my heated clothing. Get it.

We got a heated jacket for my daughter who does horseback riding. That way she could stay warm while caring for the horses in the winter. She needed a battery for it that would last a while in the coat and not have to be charged frequently. This battery does a very good job at that. It is pretty small and average weight for a battery light this. I really like that it has an LCD display to show the percentage of battery left instead of just dots. I also like that in addition to having the port for the jacket it has a standard USB port. This way if she needs it, she can also charge her phone too.The list price compared to other batteries is pretty good too. We are happy with this product!

The heated coat I got my husband said to order this battery as a compatible battery replacement so I got it so he could have a back up when the first one goes dead. He said it didn't get as warm with this battery so maybe it's not powerful enough. Not sure.

Works great, but...is HUGE and HEAVY! I'm a tall person and can handle the weight, but wouldn't really suggest this battery for a small person, as it does get heavy after awhile.
