I’m sure this would have been a great engine for my go kart. But the engine came damaged, but the seller was willing to make things right.

Got it mounted and started with battery option just for the rope to hang slightly out. Then all of a sudden the rope snatched back in and broke the pull rope option. Now it dies after running for only a minute or 2 of high rpms.

It has both recoil and electric start options, which is very convenient. Whether I use the pull start or the electric start, the engine starts effortlessly. The horizontal shaft design fits my kart setup perfectly, and the single cylinder system runs smoothly and efficiently

This motor is awesome. I was surprised to see it even has electric start. Fairly quiet motor on bench test as is not all the way installed yet. Great value for the money. Comes pre assembled which should make installing very easy and it fits perfect in the golf cart.
