My first time installing a power window regulator and motor. Watched a video and it looked easy enough.Ordered this one and received it a few days later.The fit was perfect in my 2008 Ford Escape. All the holes lined up and my original screws fit.Window works and the whole process took just over an hour, and I took my time.

It’s amazing what you can do with an Amazon part and YouTube! Tip … tape the window in place!!!! And take a photo of the old one before removing. Otherwise easy enough to install.

We needed a new motor for our car window. This worked, but is backward, as others have said. So, although I had it installed professionally, I have to use the “close†button when I want to open the window. I have no idea why it’s reversed. It can’t fit any other way.

When I installed it I did not check to see if the direction was correct. As it turns out it is opposite from the other switches. Now you have to pull up on the switch for the window to go down and push down for the window to go up. ( I talked to a technician and he said just switch the two wires at the 'pigtail' and that will solve the problem.)

I had to make an extra trip to the store, after I took it apart, because the wires were wired wrong. Had to buy cripper and crimp connectors to reverse the wires to finish the job.
