Our Clear 7.5Mil Blank mylar has excellent properties:
- PET material is very tough and hard to rip, and it's flexible that can be rolled and used on curved surfaces. Perfect size, no deformation.
- Clear Plastic, you can see through it, allowing perfect placement for stencils.
- Food grade material. Scope of application: all types of food, alcohol content not exceeding 8%, temperature not exceeding 120°F (40°C)
- 7.5 mil thickness is easy to cut with a manual knife. It's ideal for making blank stencils with super fine details, such as cookie molds.
- You can use the 7.5 mil blank mylar stencil material with rollers, brushes, inks, most paints, and stains.

Opaque Black Plastic Sheets, 7.5mil (.0075") 12†X 12†Craft Plastic Film, PET Stencil Material, Glossy and Flexible Plastic Sheet for Crafts, Cricut, Silhouette Cameo, Sign Makers (10 Pack): Exactly what I needed. I needed this for a guitar pedal application. The piece I cut with a scissors and a razor; it was simply to lay across the mother board in my Ibanez effect pedal. It appears to be the material they used at Ibanez and Maxon. It is glossy and it is thicker than paper, see the images I attached.

PROSThis stencil film is absolutely amazing for airbrushing and for royal icing scraping designs!It is sturdy and thick. It doesn’t break easily, but it’s flexible.It’s very easy to clean!Overall it makes a really nice stencil!CONSThe only real complaint is the fact that the Cricut setting suggested in the listing were not nearly enough to cut through this stencil film, i burned through 3 sheets of film just trying to find the right settings to get it to cut all the way through without ruining the stencil film.(My settings for reference to anyone who may be struggling)Model: CRICUT MAKEROriginal setting: Stencil film 0.4mmChange the pressure to 350Change the multicut option to x4I used a deep point blade, so if using a different blade you may need to change the multicut to x5.So, overall the stencil film is absolutely amazing and I definitely recommend it! Just make sure you've got your settings right so you don't waste a bunch of it like I did. :)

I found these too flimsy to use for pattern pieces. That said, they are probably great for stencils.

These folders are great for loose-leaf papers. They look professional and work well to organize a versatile range of projects. This plastic is heavy and protective for delicate paper and the clear plastic makes it easy to find what I'm looking for inside each folder. These fit well into my desk drawers for easy access.

When using this material on a cricut machine you need to change the material to Mylar and it will cut nice and clean

I'm using this for cutting out stained glass patterns. Previously I'd purchased the "milky white" translucent version of a similar product and thought "It'd be nice if this were clear and I could see the entirety of the glass I'm cutting." Actually the translucent is better in my case. I'm finding that after cutting crystal clear pattern pieces, they are easily lost on my pattern design. I have to go rummaging over the pattern to "feel" where I've left the pieces. Not the manufacturer's fault, just something that doesn't work as well in my own personal application of the product. I'll try to use it up on larger pattern pieces that are more easily found and when this package (glad I only bought 1) is used up, will revert to the milky white.

Looks like thin overhead transparancy plastic. cracks/tears very easily. Not great for cutting stencils from.
