I have an older Weber Q 300. The old cast iron had rusted out. I was considering throwing the whole grill away because in the past I have read reviews that the replacement grates don’t sit on the metal tabs and they tend to fall into the bbq. When I looked at the cost of new grills I thought I’d give these a try. Turns out they fit perfect. I seasoned them with avocado oil because that’s all I had, and so far so good. I can’t believe the fit. It’s absolutely perfect and in the 300 you don’t need the clips because the grill has little metal ledges. Thank you!

I had an old ceramic-coated grate and the ceramic coating rapidly started chipping and flaking off into my food. I got sick of burgers with crunchy bits in them and gave up on the grill. Finally I looked on Amazon and found these. I was somewhat unsure about them but when they arrived they had no ceramic, and were very heavy. They will rust, but should last quite a few years with occasional wire-brushing. And no crunchy bits of ceramic!They also come with little clips which hold the center part of the grate level. Without them the grate slopes down in the middle. A nice touch!BTW, I first tried a wire grate. What I found out is that the solid parts of the cast grates are important because they keep drippings out of the holes in the burner. I still have to clean the holes once in a while, but not every time as with the wire grate. And those solid parts also diffuse the heat from the burner so food cooks more evenly.

These are nice but not as good as the original grates. The grates weigh about 8-1/4 lbs vs the originals weighing almost 10 lbs. I doubt that makes much difference when cooking but it's noticeable when handling them. The biggest difference is the lack of a coating. The original grates have what I assume is a ceramic coating (or similar) which inhibits or eliminates rust and the sticking of cooked items. The QuliMetal grates are uncoated and will need to be seasoned regularly to avoid food sticking to them.As with most things, you get what you pay for...

I can't tell the difference from the Webber parts; I got about 6 years out of the original and about the same from this replacement grill set. I have an older grill so it's nice that these come with the clips to convert it to the two piece style. I'm happy with the quality and just ordered another set.

J'avoue quand j'ai acheté ce lot de 2 grill de cuisson, je n'avais vraiment pas beaucoup d'attente pour le prix affiché. Quelle ne fut pas ma surprise quand je les ai reçu. La qualité et la finition sont vraiment bonnes. La taille correspondait exactement à mon Weber Q3000. Sérieusement j'étais vraiment agréable surpris. Pour une alternative a bon prix, c'est une aubaine.
