I have used this tool a couple times now and it performs well. The price is right and if it only lasts a few years I would be okay with that. It is comfortable to handle and easy to use, cutting a filter very quickly.

Works like a champ. Just a large pipe cutter so no metal particles are introduced like if you cut it with a blade.

Cut through a K&N Gold filter in about 15 seconds. Took very little effort. My only concern is the threaded rod for the blade adjustment is kinda small. I wouldn’t use the knurled handle to actually spin the cutter.

I received the Tool about 20 minutes ago, and had a drained Wix 51061 Oul Filter I wanted to look at, so I got it out, put it on, screwed it in and began turning-it cut the Filter in about 5 turns-much better than I expected!The only thing I would change is the package it came in-I like to store Tools that I don't use often in their original box, and you have to screw it all the way in to fir-small detail, but the Tool is made well (sharp blade!)-buy this one if you need it-

Can't do really small filters for smaller engines like motorcycles but is a great deal and works well for anyone trying to see what the filter on there vehicle is actually filtering out

I’ve used it twice on Amsoil oil filters which has fairly thick walls and it worked fine . It also comes with an extra blade. So far so good.ðŸ‘

Works really great. I don't know if I'll be able to open 100 filter with it, but time will tell. (Cutter blade is suppose to be replaceable)

Product was of decent quality. All fasteners were tight and the fit and finish was decent. It does not fit small filters. For example it doesn’t fit a Honda filter. Also the side adjustment screw was a bit notchy but worked fine.
