This was a perfect fit to my Nikon 55-200mm VR lens. The glass is clear and arrived unscratched and protected in a plastic padded enclosure. The included microfiber cloth is a nice bonus - it's one of the best I have in my camera bag now. Glad to know my lens is "covered" now.

I recently got a new lens and have never had (or even heard of) a 46mm filter thread. I thought surely this odd size would cost an additional premium, however I was wrong. I paid $6.99 new, which is cheaper than some used UV filters I've bought in the past for very common thread sizes like 52mm. If I ever need another 46mm filter, I know where to look.

Didn't fit my lens but that wasn't the items fault that would the internet for telling me the wrong thing... Overall quality was great wish I could have used it on another lens

I have used this clear filter for a few weeks now. I use it on my Nikon Z 180-600mm zoom. I have not noticed any change in the image quality with or without the filter so far. I have not tested it under low light conditions yet, but seems to work well during the day.

I know some photographers don't like to add a front transparent filter to their lens, just to reduce the amount of glass. However, I feel this is vital in adding additional protection to my super expensive lenses. Most recently I had a knock on my front lens filter, if the filter wasn't there then knock would have scratched the lens glass. This filter is so cheap that I'm OK with it getting hurt and not my prime lens. I've done a number of tests and I found this lens doesn't add any noticeable degradation to image quality, even in low light.I absolutely recommend this clear filter.

What I have found with my telephoto lenses is that a UV filter always has a negative impact on the image regardless of the price. As you get to a wider lens the impact of the UV filter is less. The 105mm I purchased is very large and able to protect my lens from the elements in my camera trap. No quality is diminished because I am using a flash and not the sun. I personally just baby my gear and never use UV filters unless I need to protect it in my weatherproof housing. For this application it is perfect. For $10 this is a great product and it is important to note the consequences of any UV filter. I have $100 uv filters and still they will have some impact when applied to my large telephotos.

I do dirt track racing photos and this filter helped clean up my images. Helped remove glare and sun burst from the metal bodies of the cars

Just received the filter for the 2nd time. The glass on the first one I received was loose, so I asked for a replacement. The glass on this one was sturdy and didn't move around. I havent gotten the chance to really see if this would effect image quality. But I didn't notice anything upon initial inspection.Overall good value for thr price. Their QC certainly isn't great since I had to replace the first one. But Amazon shipped me a 2nd one after I returned the first one no problem. Both times it did NOT come with aicro fiber cloth. Not a deal break for me personally bc I have plenty. But still didn't get what I paid for. I'd say 2.5/5 stars based on quality Control and missing components.
