These step-down rings are hard to find. I want to use it with a 135mm Rokinon lens I use for astrophotography. At first I thought this inexpensive ring was defective. It was hard to get onto the lens. I found a high-quality Hoya brand 77mm filter in my photography kit and found that it was also hard to put on the Rokinon lens (therefore the Rokinon lens has an issue). I put the step-down ring on the Hoya filter and it went on without issue. This is exactly what I need for my astrophotography application, so now I will need to figure out how to get the Rokinon lens fixed.

I needed a step up adapter from 77mm to 95mm, well this does exactly that. no issues using it, the filter screwed right on and sit seemed like a fair price to me.

Treads are precise and it screws in smoothly. I used this to adapt a slide copier to a lens to duplicate slides with a digital camera.
