When you first open the box, you will be completely confused. But believe me, it's one of the easiest things to assemble. It's like putting together puzzle pieces—no screws are required. Although not the strongest shelves, these are fairly sturdy and functional. It's ideal for home storage, and I was lucky enough to get it for $100 during a sale, which I think is a great price

I bought these shelves and they were a snap to put together. Not a single issue. These were out of stock when I went to buy more and I ended up with a competitor's product that while virtually identical in design was much more poorly implements. This product was excellent with all corner posts folded around correctly to properly place the plastic ends and joiners to. This product had very good well riveted/welded grommets for the shelf rails. This product would be the one I would buy again if I needed more an it was in stock.

1. I wish I had seen the some of the video and picture reviews prior to purchase. The metal posts and frame are very flimsy, and the way you rubber mallet the pegs together is horrible. Look at their drawing vs. actual frame! It's so thick in the pictures, and incredibly flimsy in real pictures.2. I took a picture of the connectors. (They give 4 spare... knowing they are absolutely horrible plastic when these are advertised to hold 3000 lbs... yikes!)3. They advertise a 10 minute put together video that it is already assembled and she talks, and the video is only 1.5 minutes. The pegs are so bad, and the pieces are so flimsy, you'll be frustrated about your purchase for longer than 10 minutes before you even start assembling.4. Two pictures back to back in the instructions depicting where to assemble the shelves... if you look, the top shelf magically moves down a placement. Usually you can look at a depiction and match it as you build... but the pictures don't match on most pages, and your shelves would be all wrong. Many negative reviews explain why these aren't good. Please take them into consideration before you waste time and money.

These shelves I feel are more suited for basement storage and not so much for garage. I have heavier gauge shelving in my garage as they get bumped more often. I believe these shelves are perfect for lighter objects and great for basement storage. They are nice and tall and easy to assemble - took me maybe 30 minutes with the most difficult part being the second level height … but I did this with only 1 person, 2 people would be ideal and would probably take 10 minutes off build time. The material is a little lighter and less sturdy which is why I recommend inside usage and not garage type storage. I am happy with the shelves and they have replaced the old plastic shelves that sagged and weren’t very durable.

Overall the product looks good. Assembly was easy but the instructions should provide better scale/dimensions.Product was damaged. Not sure if it was due to shipping. End of beams/braces had bent end tips and made it difficult to put in place. I had to take pliers and bent back into shape.

I’ve purchased 6 of these so far and plan to get more. I currently have them in my storage room and shop. Definitely a great value for the price. The shelf is sturdy, but not something you would want your kids climbing on. It handles weight well when spread out over a large area, but it’s not made to handle heavy items in a small area because the metal is thin. A person standing in the middle of the shelf would probably cave it in.Main thing is to make sure the shelf brackets are all locked in properly because that’s what give it stability. It it looks like it’s leaning or the shelves are crooked it is not assembled right and you should start over. Also be sure to attach it to the wall

These are really nice shelves: heavy duty, smooth edges, well engineered and easy to put together. The instructions are a little funky, but once you get it, it goes quick. Second and third ones took less than half the time of first one. So. Go slow on first one, maybe watch the video first (kind of amusing, really), assemble in a roomy area and use a bigger rubber hammer than the one they give you. The gloves they give you are perfect for your 6 yr old kid, if ya got one.

Wobbly made two short shelves didn’t trust the full height.
