This is my second purchase of the same product. The first purchase was for compatibility with a “portable monitor laptop†with 3 screens for our Mac Notebook. The 2nd purchase was for our IPad Air that I use with my Optima Projector and SkyTrak for my golf simulator. The USB ports that also has the ability to keep our devices charged with the USB C ports was the driving factor. I would recommend this product highly for Mac IOS users because of its ability to charge and use the USB ports. Without this product, it’s difficult for Mac users to find compatible hardware needed to enjoy their Mac and be productive. I love this product and have already recommended to other users who have purchased this product. There are many products very similar but lack the ability to use the USB C for charging and still using the USB. The HDMI port works better than expected for use with my IPad and Optima Projector or any other projector. I’m hoping Golf Sim users will see this review and make this purchase.

Totally compatible to extend my Alienware laptop I/O. EZ Plug and play. Delivered ahead of schedule. Nice looking solid device. Good value for the price. Receives power from C usb port on PC.

Tried using this plugged into my Mac Studio as a hub.First. NOTE the PD port is power delivery ONLY. This does not work as a USB plug.Second. They did not note the card reader speed, so that's on me. Best it'll do is 35MBs reading from an array of different sd cards I have.Third. Like most of the electronic materials on Amazon its a 50/50 if they're telling the truth or your getting total garbage. This hub does look good. Its solid metal and feels sturdy. I can get past the PD port only being power, they didn't mislead us on this, nor about the speed of the card reader. BUT The two USB 3.0 ports are NOT 3.0. Using the same drive and cable I plug directly into the mac I plugged into this hub and only got 38MBs, same speed using a usb-a plug to try the other two ports on the hub with the same results.. slooooowwwwww. Sooo annoyed I can't get a fast card reader with a fast port for a drive to move files from sd to drive. I figured even if the card reader was slow then I could use a high speed reader on one of the 5gbps ports but no. :(

The YNHAY USB dongle impresses with its sleek, professional-looking aluminum housing and a comprehensive array of ports. The PD pass-through, USB Type-C/A data ports, and SD card readers all work flawlessly, meeting expectations for functionality.However, the HDMI port disappointingly caps at 30Hz regardless of the resolution. I conducted tests at 4K UHD, 1440p, and 1080p, but the dongle consistently limited the output to 30 frames per second. This restriction is particularly noticeable in tasks that require fluid motion, such as navigating with a mouse cursor.In summary, the dongle is well-built and functional for those who don't prioritize high frame rates. But for users like myself, who need more than 30 frames per second for daily tasks, this limitation is a deal breaker.
