My 9 year old son loves it. He is learning to do tricks with the yoyo and this model is great. It is very sturdy, heavy and very versatile. I loved the replacement kit and the case that comes with the yoyo.

Great yo-yo. I’m a beginner and I could quickly grow into this yo-yo. It is very easy to change bearings when ready to move to the next level unresponsive yo-yo.

This yoyo has a really nice weight to it; spins smoother than other yoyos i have played with. Fingerspin dimple is very shallow, and makes it difficult to finger spin. Overall a must grab if your looking to build a collection.

When I decided to try yoyo as a way to keep my hands busy during long zoom meetings. Of the several I tried, The 7YO S2 was the most responsive and comfortable of the ones I tried. The others I tried were WATIEOBOO C130, YOYOSTUDIO H17, and 7YO X8. Of all of these, the S2 was definitely the most responsive, followed by the X8.I used the S2 for many hours over many weeks. It just works in a way that C130 and H17 didn't. I don't know what's wrong with those, but they simply don't return to the hand easily, despite being marketed as responsive yoyos for beginners. 7YO X8 was almost as responsive as S2.Compared to the X8, the S2 is noticeably louder and less smooth, but more responsive and more comfortable in the hand. After coming back to the S2 after not using it for a few weeks, it seems to have lost some of its magic. I'm not sure why but it doesn't respond like it used to. I even tried changing the string. I'm guessing it just needs some lubricant or a new bearing, but I haven't tried making any changes yet. I'm sure there is probably an easy fix that I haven't tried yet. I managed to get probably 40+ hours using it so I'm sure it needs some maintenance at this point.I liked S2 enough that I bought it as a gift for a couple of my younger nephews. They have enjoyed playing with it as well.

I bought this metal yoyo for my 12 year old Great Grandson. He absolutely loves it. It is very well built and comes in a cute zippered case. It also has different colored cords that he can interchange. Great buy.

Solid little yoyo, I suck with these but my nephew who loves yoyo's was able to do some fun tricks with it. Overall seems like a pretty decent quality one and even comes with a nice little carry case.

Fantastic, brought a smile to my face instantly, and those bearings spin for days, it is seriously fun.Growing up I only ever had a very basic wooden traditional yoyo and a metal axle Duncan one. I recall how frustrating it was with them as a kid to try do anything interesting with them, it was incredibly frustrating. This bad boy is a total game changer for me. I could not believe how easy it was to get a sleeper let alone the incredibly satisfying pop back a quick tug gave. Within 20 minutes I was walking the dog doing the cradle. For a beginner like me it was mind blowing. The key is absolutely the bearing that these more professional models sport. The kit comes with a set of 10 color strings, a preinstalled flat "responsive" bearing, a concave "unresponsive" bearing, axle and tool all in a nicely sized compact zippered case. The aluminum yoyo's fit and finish are sharp and looks great in the green and black colorway I have. I weighed it at 66g it feels nice in the hand and is satisfying to throw with some pep. The mini quick start guide was really helpful for a beginner like me. About the only gotcha I encountered was not realizing the string needs some twist so that it will help the return but once setup its super satisfying to throw. Probably a non-issue for an experienced yoyo fan.Where I might caution for younger kids is the ability to sleep it so easily could be a bit frustrating trying to learn the very basics. Perhaps a more basic model might be better suited first, or some help to get them started would be sufficient. For a fan, this is a quality product. The kit, the yoyo itself, the quality of the bearings and the nice touch of the side nylon and well for advanced tricks offers a whole lot of play and learning potential.

This yo-yo does come with some details on how to install the string but they are not the greatest for the beginner and can be quite frustrating. That being said, as someone that has used these types of yo-yo's in the past, I did not have any trouble. The toy itself is great quality and a good weight to do basic to intermediate tricks one moves. The set also comes with 10 strings of various colors. The bearing is smooth and flush. This yo-yo make a great gift for any level of user, just google or youtube some tutorials for stringing and tricks to get the most out of this toy
