Perfect to remove oxidation. I used these with a Custom Shop Heavy Duty Variable Speed Polisher with a 5/8" Threaded Grip Backing Plate. I replaced the backing plate on the polisher with a AES Industries 51720 6.5" Cushioned Hook and Loop Backing Pad, and it fits perfectly. I could not be happier with the results. I have used the pad with water only, as well as with Meguiar's M105 Mirror Glaze Ultra-Cut Compound. Either way the results are highly noticeable. With the cut compound, the results are stunning. A must have if your car is more than 5 years old. Highly recommend.
