This mixer is the perfect asset for our multi guest podcast set up. Easy to use, set up & connect. Great size for production layout as well.

Very clearly designed for beginners, good sound quality, some modicum of effects handling. What’s lacking is that Bluetooth is only connected to PA out. It does not connect through to headphones and/or Aux Out. What this means is that if you want use Bluetooth input in parallel to a band playing to a setlist, you can only hear the Bluetooth input through the main PA, it will not go to Aux Send nor “sound guy†headphones. If you don’t need that type of integrated function then great, it’s a good unit for the money.

Great 4 channel mixer. Channels 1&2 include XLR and 1/4 inch inputs -- includes pan control. Channel 3 is a stereo input that accepts two 1/4 inch inputs that are panned to left and right. The outputs are 1/4 inch and RCA types -- a pair of XLR outputs would be my choice, but not present. It's not clear from the manual if the 1/4 inch outputs are balanced or not, but it functions fine with either TRS 3-wire or TS 2-wire cabling. All channels include 3 tone controls (lo, mid, hi). The knobs and sliders are high quality. It includes a low-noise balanced input connection. All the input and output jacks are high quality and serviceable. The case is all metal and very rugged. It's a great basic mixer for home recording, band rehearsal space or podcasting. I haven't tested the mp3 playback or computer connectivity, but those are great additional features.

This mixer isn't a bad mixer at all for people who just need the basics but like all mixers in its price range there are the usual minor shortcomings. The preamps on this mixing console are weak and definitely not the cleanest. Condenser mics will be usable for things like YouTube but not for anything serious. Dynamic mics are definitely a challenge for this one. I plugged in a standard SM58 and even with the gain set at 100% it was struggling. It will be fine for karaoke night or small DJ gigs at best but I strongly recommend getting an inline microphone preamp if you plan on using it with dynamic microphones. Build quality isn't bad at all but isn't like more expensive units which is fine since it is still made out of metal and works well. The Bluetooth function on it is amazing and works incredibly well every time. Pairing to devices and controlling them through the console is easy to do and the buttons are responsive. The meters are very responsive as well and show a good amount of detail by using plenty of LEDs. The EQ works well too and the inputs and outputs are all XLR and 1/4 jacks like they should be but it also has an RCA output for compatibility with home audio equipment which is a nice touch. Phantom power can't be turned on to just one microphone but this is expected at this price range. The faders are nice and smooth but don't have felt to prevent dust from getting in so make sure you keep this unit extra clean and cover it when not in use. They are a nice size though which is surprising to see on mixing consoles of this class. The effect it has works but isn't as versatile as reverb which is a bit disappointing but not the end of the world. I just wish they would have put reverb in here instead of the delay. If you don't need anything fancy and just need the basics for karaoke night or a party with friends, this isn't a bad choice. Just don't expect to do studio grade recordings with it out of the box since the preamps aren't the greatest.
